CONTEXT:

Interested in "cost effective" audits to improve the performance of any process in your organization or suppliers? 

You want to be prepared to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of your quality management system and its compliance with IATF 16949: 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015. 

You want to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of your suppliers' quality management systems and their compliance with IATF 16949: 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015. 
 

 

OBJECTIVES:

  • Know the automotive process approach and identify the requirements applicable to the different processes. 
  • Understand how to conduct a process-based system audit according to IATF 16949 and ISO9001. 
  • Be able to assess the overall performance of a quality management system. 
  • Prepare, conduct and complete an internal/supplier audit in accordance with the requirements of ISO 19011. 
     

 

PREREQUISITES: 

  • Have a good knowledge with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards 
  • Demonstrate proof of training in IATF16949 : 2016 quality management systems 
  • Participant must have ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016 standard documentations, as they are is not provided during the training 
     

 

SPECIFIC OPERATING CONDITIONS FOR REMOTE SESSIONS: 

  • Have a PC with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: background screens are available on Zoom or Teams to blur or hide the rear view. 
  • Have a good Internet connection, to be tested before the session. 
  • Be installed in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session. 
  • Participants from the same organization should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at his/ her own desk, to avoid any side discussions during the session. Virtual sub-groups will be specially created for the exercises, which will also enable mixed groups.  
  • Remote qualification/certification exams must be taken with camera and microphone open. We may also need to check that you are alone in the room. 
  • Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the session. 

 

 

TRAINING METHOD:

The training uses a fun and varied approach to master the system auditor's job, according to the requirements of the standard. Each chapter of the standard combines theory and practice, discussing the audit paths to be followed and learning the CAPDo® system audit methodology. 

 

 

TRAINING PROGRAM:

  1. The process approach and how to audit it. 
  2. The new structure of the standards. 
  3. The risk approach to prepare an audit efficiently. 
  4. General auditing and internal auditor competencies IATF 16949: 2016. 
  5. The step by step of the audit : 

       a.  Preparing the audit (contract review, data collection, audit grid...). 

       b.  The implementation of the audit (opening meeting, key points, Rules 5, audit findings, closing meeting,         action plan...). 

  1. Self-assessment of audit practice. 

 

 

EVALUATION METHOD:

Exam to certify the ability to audit a quality management system. 

 

 

SKILLS VALIDATION:

Training qualification certificate

 

 

TRAINING MATERIALS:

Participant file containing training materials and exercises. Training materials in digital format are made available to trainees a few days before the course.
