CONTEXT:

You are targeting future certification of compliance with quality management system standards in the automotive industry. 

You would like to acquire the necessary knowledge of the automotive requirements following a new position. 

You are looking for a correct interpretation and understanding with a relevant application of these requirements. 
 

 

OBJECTIVES:

  • Discover and understand the requirements applicable to the automotive industry  
  • Identify how to get all the benefits of the process approach. 
  • Determine the applicable requirements of the 2 standards on a process-by-process basis.  
  • Understand that the quality management system must be a tool for improving company performance and profitability. 
     

 

PREREQUISITES: 

Bring the ISO 9001: 2015 and IATF 16949 / 2016 standards (we do not provide the standards)
 

 

SPECIFIC OPERATING CONDITIONS FOR REMOTE SESSIONS: 

  • Have a PC with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: background screens are available on Zoom or Teams to blur or hide the rear view. 
  • Have a good Internet connection, to be tested before the session. 
  • Be installed in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to “unavailable” status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session. 
  • Participants from the same organization should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at his/ her own desk, to avoid any side discussions during the session. Virtual sub-groups will be specially created for the exercises, which will also enable mixed groups.  
  • Remote qualification/certification exams must be taken with camera and microphone open. We may also need to check that you are alone in the room. 
  • Please connect 5 minutes before the start of the session. 

 

 

TRAINING METHOD:

Practical exercises with trainer reinforcement are combined to gradually introduce participants to the standards.  

Group work followed by feedback sessions will enable participants to strengthen their understanding of the requirements and associated risks. 

 

 

TRAINING PROGRAM:

  1. The structure and organization of the ISO9001 : 2015 and IATF : 2016 standards. 
  2. The organizational context (internal / external issues, interested parties, specific customer requirements). 
  3. The process approach. 
  4. QMS planning (steps, risks, quality policy, objectives and actions, product safety...). 
  5. Leadership (management commitment, company responsibility...). 
  6. ISO 9001 and IATF16949 standards requirements analysis : 
  • Products realization processes : from the sales to the invoicing. 
  • Support processes (control of supplies, HR management, employees motivation, information management, infrastructure management...).  
  • Other specific requirements associated with management and steering processes. 

 

 

EVALUATION METHOD:

Knowledge test (Multi Choice Questions)

Training qualification certificate 

 

 

TRAINING MATERIALS:

Participant file containing training materials and exercises. Training materials in digital format are made available to trainees a few days before the course.
