RECOMMANDED FOR:

Quality / Engineering / Production / Programme Leaders & Managers

CONTEXT:

In accordance with the requirements of EN9100 and under the APQP/PPAP, a control plan must be created, managed and kept up to date to guarantee the robustness of the quality of your industrialisation and any industrial changes.

Relating to this control plan topic, aerospace engine manufacturers have developed reference manuals to guide the supply chain in the deployment of quality methods and tools, such as:

  • RM 13002: Alternative sampling plans
  • RM 13004: Quality tools for defect prevention
  • RM 13006: Methods for controlling manufacturing processes

OBJECTIVES:

  • Remind the overall APQP/PPAP requirements of aerospace principals.
  • Make the link between the product design, the manufacturing and inspection processes, with an emphasis on the control of key characteristics.
  • Know the best practices for drawing up a control plan.
  • In particular, the integration of the recommendations from EN9100, AS13100 (including EN9145) and associated deployment guides (RM13002, RM13004, RM13006).

PREREQUISITES:

  • Basic aeronautics culture (EN9100 requirements)
  • Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and FMEA.

TRAINING METHOD:

Throughout the course, participants are encouraged to take part in group activities that are directly linked to their operational concerns. There are many opportunities for discussion and consolidation of the activities done, to facilitate the appropriation of concepts, tools and best practices.

The simplicity and logic of the training thread used throughout the course ensure a real understanding of the issues involved in the effective development and implementation of control plans in ASD.

The In-house dedicated training course can be customised to meet the specific needs, difficulties and challenges of your company.

TRAINING PROGRAM:

  1. Reminder of the global requirements arising from EN9100 and AS13100 concerning APQP/PPAP, and the relevance of control plan.
  2. The main tools for controlling industrialisation (RM13004).
  3. The main tools for controlling manufacturing processes (RM13006).
  4. The controlled deployment of alternative sampling plans (RM13002).
  5. Keeping the serial life control plans up to date.
  6. Identifying priority areas for improvement within the organisation.
